Okan is a sustainably built, eco-friendly center intentionally set off the beaten path, inviting the land itself to become part of your healing. The open-air design reduces the need for air conditioning keeping guests connected to nature while minimizing environmental impact.

  • Downstairs: 8 twin beds in a shared dorm style space.

    Upstairs: 5 full beds and 1 twin bed.

    Maximum capacity is 19 people.

  • Okan lodging includes: 2 private bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, 3 private bedrooms with shared bathroom, and 2 dorm style rooms with shared bathroom; access to the full kitchen; drinking water; access to the pool, yoga shala, living room and dining room. The center also has a half bath and outdoor shower. We include compost, recycling and trash removal. We supply 1 bath towel per guest, one set of linens per bed, and hand soap only. We do not have a TV, screen or projector, but we have a wall where you could project onto. We do not offer laundry service to guests.

  • The cost to book Okan is $500/night USD. Deposit of 25% for 7 nights or more is due at contract signing. For less than 7 nights a 50% deposit is due at signing. General payment schedule is every other month with the total to be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival. Please note: rental costs will increase December 1, 2026 to $800/night.

  • In the event the Client wishes to change the date of the event, Okan will make a diligent effort to transfer reservations to support the new date, assuming the date is available. We understand that sometimes it is necessary to cancel a reservation. In the event of a cancellation, all payments received are non-refundable. The full cancellation policy is detailed in the contract.

  • Item descrWe offer a list of chefs, transportation options, massage and other therapy recommendations, and information for nearby destinations to choose from for your retreat. We support with on-site needs as well. iption

  • We are located in the Mexican Caribbean just 30 minutes from the Cancun International airport.

  • We are close to Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Isla Mujeres and Cozumel. We are a day trip to Chichen Itza and many beautiful cenotes.

  • No. At this time we do not allow plant medicine ceremonies at Okan.

We will handle scheduling airport pick-up and drop off, as well as transportation needs for local excursions. Price is $600 per night.
